U.S. UnEmployment Rate mapping tool
The U.S. Unemployment Rate Map provides a geographic overview of the density of the U.S. unemployment rate by county. The series of maps present unemployment year by year and a 6-year average from 2010 to 2016. The map excludes pre-crisis data, considering the recession’s dramatic effect on unemployment. This map is a part of the MAPI Foundation’s U.S. manufacturing location assistance project, aimed at supporting domestic manufacturing footprint investment decisions.
